The Newest Development Trend of Yunnan Shenyu Biomass Energy Industry

In 2007, Yunnan Shenyu New Energy Co., Ltd (YSNE) will finish constructing a 20,000 ha base of Jatropha plantation, a 27 ha base of Jatropha seedling production, a crude oil plant and a 100,000 tons bio-diesel plant. Presently YSNE is regarded as the demonstration enterprise by government in China. The two plants enter the phase of construction, and are expected to run this year. In 5 years, YSNE plans to build Jatropha plantation bases with 150,000 ha scale in Yunnan Province (China). It also plans to build bases with 1.4 million ha scale in China, bases with 670,000 ha scale in Southeast Asia, crude oil plants and bio-diesel plants with 5 million tons scale.
